You can contact our reception with all your questions. You will find several Visit Dalarna brochures with information about Orsa, Mora and the sightseeings activities, cycling and walking routes.

In our small kiosk, which is also the reception, you will find a limited range of food as well as souvenirs from the region such as the famous Dala horses and Mora knives.

Gammelgard
Gammelgård is a 10-minute walk from the campsite. A beautiful place with about twenty old buildings where the famous Våmhus basket and hairpins are still traditionally made. There is a shop where you can buy beautiful handmade souvenirs, nice to take home with you! During the summer season, activities are regularly organized for young and old and at midsummer there is a big party with music and dance.

Handlar’n
In the village of Orsa, which is 10 kilometers away from the campsite, there are 3 large supermarkets. But you can also go to the local supermarket, the handlar’n.

Gastfilling station. Good to know is that in Orsa, a 10-minute drive from our campsite, it is possible to fill your gas bottle. This filling station has various connections so that any gas bottle can be filled.

Last year we started the Våmåbadets Café. On a cozy terrace overlooking the lake you can enjoy something to eat and drink.

We have a small but varied menu. Think about sandwiches, waffles, homemade soup and freshly made pizzas. You can also pick up pizzas all day if the weather is bad or you prefer to eat at the camper or tent.

The kitchen hatch is also open all day for camping and beach guests to pick up ice creams, soft drinks, coffee, iced coffee, tea, kanelbulle, Wienerbröd, etc. We also bake fresh bread rolls to order every morning.

Opening hours
During the high season mid-June untill mid-August we offer the full menu. During the more quiet months our offer will be smaller, but you can still enjoy delicious homemade pizzas, homemade soup and freshly baked bread in the morning.
